How do I book a rental on RentNow?

Booking on RentNow is easy. Simply search for the item you’re looking to rent, whether it’s a car, apartment, bike, or scooter. Once you’ve found a listing that suits your needs, select your preferred dates and follow the steps to complete your reservation.

The rental price typically includes the base cost of the item for the specified period, but additional fees like service charges, cleaning fees, or security deposits may apply. Make sure to review the details in the listing before confirming your booking.

Yes, you can modify or cancel your reservation depending on the host’s cancellation policy. To make changes, log in to your account, go to My Bookings, and follow the instructions. Keep in mind that cancellation fees may apply.

Once your booking is confirmed, the host will reach out to you with any necessary information, and you’ll receive their contact details via email. You can also use the in-platform messaging system to communicate directly with your host.

If you experience any problems with your rental, we recommend contacting the host directly. If the issue persists, reach out to RentNow’s support team for further assistance. We’re here to help ensure your rental experience goes smoothly.

If a host cancels your reservation, you will receive a full refund, including any service fees. Hosts who frequently cancel bookings may face penalties on the platform.

Yes, RentNow uses encrypted payment processing to ensure that your personal and financial information is secure. We also recommend communicating and paying exclusively through the platform to protect both parties.

How do I list my property or vehicle on RentNow?

Listing on RentNow is simple. After signing up, click on the Host a Rental button. You’ll be guided through a step-by-step process to add your listing details, photos, pricing, and availability.

RentNow takes a small commission from each booking made through the platform. This commission helps us maintain the platform and provide customer support. You’ll be able to see the exact amount deducted when you set up your listing.

You can set the price for your listing based on your preferences. We suggest researching similar listings in your area for pricing guidelines. You can also use RentNow’s pricing tools to adjust prices based on demand, peak seasons, or other factors.

 

RentNow offers a built-in security deposit option, allowing you to request a deposit from guests that is refundable after the rental period if no damages are reported. In the event of damage, you can claim the deposit or work with RentNow support to resolve the issue. Security deposits are customizable, and in case of damages, you will need to provide photos and documentation to our support team to assist in resolving the claim. Guests will be charged based on the established policy and terms.

Managing your listing is simple with the Host Dashboard. From here, you can update details, adjust availability, communicate with guests, and track your earnings. You can easily edit your listing to change pricing, availability, or update photos at any time. The dashboard also includes a messaging system that allows you to communicate directly with guests before and during their rental, ensuring smooth coordination. You will receive real-time booking notifications, which allow you to easily accept or decline requests.

As a host, you have the flexibility to define your own cancellation policies, which will be clearly displayed to guests when they make a booking. If a guest cancels within the allowed timeframe, the refund process will automatically follow your cancellation policy. You can select between flexible, moderate, or strict cancellation terms, and RentNow will handle the refund accordingly. If a guest cancels at the last minute, depending on your policy, you may still receive part or all of the booking fee.

Yes, RentNow allows you to manage multiple listings from a single account. Whether you have several homes, cars, or bikes to rent, you can handle everything seamlessly through the platform. Each listing can have its own availability, pricing, and policies, giving you full control over your assets. The Host Dashboard also helps you track bookings and earnings for each individual listing, making it easy to manage a larger portfolio.

RentNow processes payments securely and automatically after a guest completes their booking. Payments are typically processed and transferred to your preferred payment method within 24 to 48 hours of the booking completion. You can easily track all transactions and monitor your earnings from the Host Dashboard, where detailed reports of all incoming payments are available.
